Liverpool £35m player compared to Thomas Partey as more experienced: Yves Bissouma says
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma has ranked Liverpool’s Alexis Mac Allister higher than Arsenal star Thomas Partey.
Some of Europe’s most gifted midfielders play in the Premier League. Partey of Arsenal is one of the top players in the nation and a player of the highest caliber. But it appears Bissouma has little regard for him.
Yves Bissouma suggests Alexis Mac Allister is better than Thomas Partey
For £35 million last summer, Liverpool acquired Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton (BBC).
For the Reds, the Argentine has been outstanding. He has shown great promise both at the base of the midfield and in box-to-box roles.
On the other side, Thomas Partey of Arsenal is an incredible player. He has suffered greatly from injuries, yet when healthy, there aren’t many better midfield players in the world.
This week, on Spurs’ official TikTok account, Yves Bissouma, a talented midfield player, was requested to conduct a blind rating.
He promptly moved Partey, his opponent from North London, to the bottom of his list as soon as he saw his photo.
Mac Allister of Liverpool was ranked fifth by Bissouma, ahead of John Terry, Federico Chiesa, Edwin van der Sar, Dani Carvajal, and Partey, who was ranked last.
Fans of Tottenham would have adored that, we’re sure.
Partey could save Arsenal’s season
Arsenal, who is third in the Premier League standings, just suffered a setback in the first leg of their round of 16 Champions League match. While it’s undoubtedly not the end of the world, Mikel Arteta probably wishes he were in a better situation right now.
It won’t be long until Thomas Partey plays again for the Gunners after returning to full training earlier this week.
That gives Arsenal a huge boost. Partey is maybe the finest defensive midfielder in the Premier League when he’s fully fit; he demonstrated this over a significant portion of the previous campaign.
It will be extremely challenging to stop Arsenal if he can play every game from this weekend until the end of the season at his peak.
