Breaking news: West Ham to give out a key player this January
Club confident of ‘advantageous’ agreement with West Ham – Already have player on side for transfer
Pablo Fornals has already given Real Betis his blessing, so they are confident they can make a “advantageous” trade with West Ham United for him.
Reportedly, talks between the two clubs are in progress, and the Spanish team is optimistic that they will be able to reach a mutually agreeable agreement. This information comes from ABC Sevilla.
As Luiz Henrique is expected to leave and Betis has already gotten the midfielder from West Ham’s approval, the newspaper claims that the team is “determined” to sign Fornals before the transfer window closes.
He and his group reached an agreement in the last few hours to join Betis this month, but in exchange, he will forfeit a “significant amount” of his West Ham salary.
Once Betis completed that step they began direct negotiations with West Ham, initially proposing a loan deal with a purchase option for the player.
The fact that the player is on their side and only committed to West Ham until 2025 makes it unlikely that the Hammers will be interested in that, but Betis think they can work out a deal that will be “advantageous” for them.
While he awaits the completion of a deal, Fornals has made it apparent to the leaders of Betis that he is “determined” to relocate to Heliópolis. He has even turned down other offers that have been made.
The conversation between those parties is “very fluid,” which helps to move things along swiftly, and this is a plus for Betis because his agent also represents Borja Iglesias.
