Good news for Tottenham as big club agrees to sell key player
Tottenham Hotspur be handed a fresh chance to sign Samuel lling-Junior after their reported talks with a January transfer updcould ate coming out of Juventus this week.
Spurs looking for deals in early January
Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou has previously stated that he wants to add new players as soon as possible this month because he wants them to boost their options and fit in fast.
The north Londoners are rumored to be closer to signing Radu Dragusin, a star player for Genoa, in an effort to provide Postecoglou with more choices at center defense. But it’s also thought that Spurs are looking for a new winger and midfield player.
“Close too” – Tottenham star expected to make an injury comeback shortly with van de Ven Postecoglou may receive a significant double boost.
It’s not like we’re going to sign someone and have them play right away, so if you can get them in early, you can ease them into training and our football philosophy. Postecoglou commented on the Spurs’ January acquisitions, “Maybe they could.”
“On the other hand, if you wait until the end of January, it might take them until the middle to end of February to catch up, depending on their origins and league.” There are several moving elements as a result. Indeed, I would want to do something early in the window, but even I admit that puts us in a difficult position because other clubs are aware of our desire to act early.
“You’ve got to play the game, we’ll see what happens but I’m hopeful it will be much earlier than the end of the window before we bring someone in.”
Regarding the wide area, Al-Ittihad forward Jota and Juventus star Iling-Junior are the two names that stick out as Spurs’ primary objectives. Under Massimiliano Allegri, the latter has not made many appearances this season. According to reports from last month, Tottenham was reportedly in contact with Juventus and conducting talks about making a move for the 21-year-old Daniel Longo.
Spurs were reportedly the front-runners to recruit Iling-Junior at the time, according to dependable journalist Nizami Kinsella of The Evening Standard. Although not much has changed since then, a report this week raises the possibility that the Lilywhites may have another chance to pursue him.
“Working” to sell Iling-Junior is Juventus
Rudy Galetti, a transfer writer, claims that Juventus is “working” to offload Iling-Junior in January as a result of Tottenham’s strong interest in the youngster.
This is because Allegri and company are interested in signing Georgiy Sudakov, a youngster from Shakhtar Donetsk, but they need to send off their out-of-favour winger first.
Reporter Dean Jones has described Iling-Junior as a “exciting” young forward, and he is a reasonably smart selection to give Postecoglou more options when it comes to attacking. With the arrivals of Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur, Juventus and Spurs appear to have a solid working relationship, so Iling-Junior’s possible move to north London might not be too difficult to arrange.
