Done deal; West Ham has signed another amazing player

West Ham women’s team have signed Shelina Zadorsky on loan for the remainder of the season, as she reunites with her former boss.

The Spurs defender, who finished fifth in the previous season with our London rivals, is heading to the east end of the capital to reunite with Rehanne Skinner, with whom she served as captain.

The Canadian international thinks there is a lot of potential and the team should start to see results and league position improve despite a challenging first half of the season.

The defender stated on the team’s official website, “I think the Club has so much potential, and just being a defender and hopefully being able to come in and help and bring a bit of presence to keep more clean sheets.”

“Rehanne and I get along well; she’s a coach who knows how to bring out the best in me. We’ve worked together previously.

“There are many talented players in this group, and I see a lot of potential. It’s an exciting group.”

“I think we’ve had enough time to build a solid friendship over the years, and I’m really looking forward to working with her again. She has the ability to challenge and push me in ways that help me perform at my highest level and be the team’s best defender.

Zadorsky acknowledges that much work has to be done and expresses hope that her participation will help the second half of the season’s outcomes.

The new recruit continued, “I think that’s what the club wants to do and I want to be a part of that in the second half of the season. Results can easily sway either way.”
