49ers Star, Eagles Security Boss Bounced After Sideline Feud
Following an altercation on the sidelines during the third quarter, Philadelphia Eagles security chief Dom DiSandro and San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw were both led out of Sunday’s game.
The altercation started when Greenlaw tackled Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith close to the Philadelphia sideline, sending him flying out of bounds.
Greenlaw was flagged by referees for needless roughness, and players and staff from both teams rushed in as if they were about to fight.
DiSandro intervened as though to separate Greenlaw and Smith, and Greenlaw gestured to the security chief’s face while yelling, seemingly making contact with him.
DiSandro was also taken out, but before he left, Philadelphia supporters in the bleachers gave him a standing ovation.
