Report: Out-of-favour Spurs man is now attracting interest from Saudi Arabia
CaughtOffside have claimed that even though Sergio Regulion is attracting interest from Saudi Arabia, the left-back is hesitant to move to the West Asian country.
Real Sociedad’s signing of Kieran Tierney on loan from Arsenal ruined Reguilon’s chances of joining the La Liga team over the weekend, but there doesn’t seem to be a lack of interest in the Spaniard in the closing days of the transfer market.
Following Luke Shaw’s injury, it has been reported in recent days that Manchester United is mulling a surprise move for the 26-year-old (MEN), while Fulham is also rumored to be considering a last-minute deal for the Spurs star (Telegraph).
The left-back may even go to the City Ground as part of the agreement to bring Brennan Johnson to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, according to a report from The Daily Mail on Monday..
Saudi Arabia interest in Sergio Reguilon at Spurs
Reguilon has allegedly drawn interest from Saudi Pro League clubs as well, but the midfielder is ‘far from keen’ to leave Europe, according to CaughtOffside.
The article also states that it is still “unclear” whether the former Real Madrid player will be moving to Sevilla in the closing days of the transfer window.
Spurs Web Opinion
Unlike the likes of Ndombele, Sanchez, Tanganga, and Dier, who Tottenham are looking to shift permanently, Spurs are evidently open to loaning out Reguilon again, which might explain the increased interest in his services. It appears as if the left-back could potentially head to another Premier League side before the window shuts on Friday night.

Club and agent ‘pushing’ player to accept Tottenham offer – Would rather join a ‘top’ team
At this point, it almost seems that an exit from Ansu Fati will happen, and it just remains to see where he will land, with Tottenham a possibility.
A report from Marca said Spurs were in advanced negotiations to close a deal, and that topic was extensively covered on Wednesday.
It’s all very thrilling, but despite Barcelona and Jorge Mendes’ attempts to convey the player to Tottenham, Sport blocked the transfer.
According to writer Toni Juanmarti, the player has “always reiterated” that he would want to join a “top” team, but both the club and the agent are “pushing” for Ansu to accept the Spurs option, which would be a loan.
He has his eyes on moves to the likes of Atlético Madrid and Liverpool, but those would only open up for him if the likes of Yannick Carrasco and Mohamed Salah were to leave.
Therefore, Tottenham fans might have to wait a bit longer to see Fati in a white shirt, as he might try and delay things for as long as possible in hope that one of the two players above leave their clubs and create an opening for him.
Should that not happen, then maybe, just maybe, the idea of playing regularly for Spurs will entice him more than sitting on the bench at Barcelona.
