‘Last Hours’: £230k-P/W Star Tells Club to Let Him Leave; He Wants to Join Spurs
Gerard Romero claims that Ansu Fati of FC Barcelona has “asked the club to leave in these last hours” and that Tottenham Hotspur are the front-runners to recruit him.
Though it is believed that the midfielder wants to join Spurs, Chelsea, or Liverpool, only the North London club has made a formal offer for a transfer thus far.
Spaniard Favours a Premier League Move to Spurs, Chelsea or Liverpool
According to reports published on Wednesday morning, Spurs and Barcelona were negotiating a loan agreement for Fati that would last until June 2024. His Catalan team has demanded that Tottenham pay his whole salary as a condition of a transfer to the club.
Although neither Chelsea nor Liverpool have made an official approach for the Spanish international, it is said that the young potential is keen on moving to the Premier League and that both clubs are interested in signing him.
The Blues have made it plain that they are looking for an attacking player, with Cole Palmer of Manchester City being their top choice.Although it is unknown if Fati’s transfer request will put him in the running for a transfer to Stamford Bridge, his versatility in terms of positions and great potential may make him a good fit for the West London club.
