Tottenham Hotspur Scouted 22-year-old In Game In Which He Scored
According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur inspected forward Georges Mikautadze over the weekend and saw him score the game-winning goal for Metz against Clermont.
Mikautadze, 22, plays for Georgia on the international stage and is signed to Metz of Ligue 1.
Another Premier League team, Sheffield United, is interested in him because Paul Heckingbottom’s group is eager to add more attacking options.
Spurs are aware of emerging talent and are keeping an eye on the guy.
To keep an eye on the 22-year-old forward, Postecoglou’s team dispatched spies to Sunday’s away game between Metz and Clermont. He ended up scoring the game’s lone goal.
The Lilywhites are now looking for an attacker and have Brennan Johnson and Johan Bakayoko on their radar in an effort to improve the depth of their squad’s assault.
This season, Postecoglou’s attacking play has won praise, and he wants to keep playing with the same fluidity in the future.
It is yet unknown how Tottenham will organize their pending transfer window activities in the final few days.

Report: What Brennan Johnson has told friends about joining Tottenham
Brennan Johnson has reportedly informed his friends that he is eager to sign with Tottenham Hotspur before the transfer window closes, according to Football Insider.
We earlier circulated a report from 90 minutes that stated Johnson’s head had reportedly been turned by the North London club’s interest, and that Spurs had moved into prime position to sign him.
Even though the attacking midfielder wasn’t actively seeking a transfer, the article stated that he was eager to join the Lilywhites and team up with Ange Postecoglou.
Spurs working on a late deal for Brennan Johnson
According to a recent report from Football Insider, Johnson may have also told his friends and family about his plans to join Tottenham.
According to the source, Spurs has been ‘kept close eyes’ on the dynamic attacker for a while and its scouts have been extremely impressed by the player.
The 22-year-old reportedly wants to advance his career by joining a prestigious club before the transfer deadline.
Although Johnson’s transfer to Tottenham is being worked on, it is stated that an agreement is “a long way off” because Forest wants more than £45 million for the Wales international.
Spurs Web Opinion
I fully expect this deal to be done before the window slams shut as there is willingness on all sides to finalise a transfer. Postecoglou seemingly rates Johnson while the player is keen on the move. Forest also have to sell players to ensure they do not fall foul of FFP regulations.
