Report: £13m Tottenham target now isn’t training with his club, he’s about to be sold

Fulham are really short on numbers at the moment.

The west London club have lost no fewer than six players from their squad last season, and after only making three additions so far this summer, they’re light on the ground.

Over the following days, Craven Cottage is expected to welcome additional guests, but it also sounds like there might be another departure.

As he gets ready to depart the club, Tosin Adarabioyo isn’t training with the first-team group at Craven Cottage, as reported by Sky Sports.

Tosin has been hotly pursued by Tottenham throughout the summer, and a potential exchange with Eric Dier has been discussed. However, according to Sky, the £13 million defender may now be headed to Monaco instead.

Moving Tosin would have made sense because he was a player that Spurs had been intrigued in for a while.

Tosin, a front-footed defender with excellent ball skills, would have been fantastic for Ange Postecoglou’s team, but it appears that a move to Ligue 1 may be in the cards instead.

This might be a great choice for Tosin as well.

The French league, which features players like William Saliba and Jean-Clair Todibo, among others, is a fantastic environment for these young ball-playing defenders to develop. In Ligue 1, Monaco consistently contends for a top-four spot.

Fulham’s shopping list may need to expand even more as a result of the necessity for additional center-back coverage following Tosin’s apparent impending exit from the team.

It’s unclear where Fulham will turn next, and it would be intriguing to see whether Tottenham enters the market again after appearing to lose one of their primary targets to Monaco.

Why Orban will not join Tottenham despite Harry Kane’s departure to Bayern Munich

The free-scoring Nigerian striker has been heavily linked with a move to North London this summer, but the transfer seems highly unlikely

According to Soccernet, Nigerian striker Gift Orban is unlikely to sign with Tottenham Hotspur this summer since the team is very interested in Brennan Johnson, a great player for Nottingham Forest.

In a transaction for more than €100 million, Tottenham lost the great striker Harry Kane to Bayern Munich this summer. They haven’t been able to replace him, though.

Realistically, Kane was the only free striker who could carry Tottenham. Tottenham must buy a striker this summer to make up for the loss, though, as Richalison hasn’t exactly exuded confidence.

Soccernet has before claimed that Gent’s Orban was a target for Spurs. The transaction hasn’t advanced very far, though, because the Belgian side is reportedly wanting more than €30 million.

Meanwhile, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Brennan Johnson is a target for Spurs this summer. Ange Postecoglou, the coach, is drawn to the versatile and fast on the ball 22-year-old attacker.

Johnson would cost Tottenham at least €40 million, and the price might even rise given Brentford’s strong interest in the Englishman.

Ansu Fati and Johan Bakayoko from PSV are reportedly Tottenham’s backup alternatives if they are unable to sign the 22-year-old.

With only three days left until the transfer window closes, it seems improbable that Tottenham would sign Orban. This is according to all current transfer reports from England.

The Super Eagles prospect would nevertheless like to continue scoring goals for Gent. This season, Orban has scored six goals in seven games for the Buffalos, and he doesn’t appear to be slowing down.
