Pedro Porro hints at Tottenham injury return with FPL message
Pedro Porro has hinted at an imminent injury return for Tottenham
Along with fellow full-back Destiny Udogie, the defender, who has emerged as one of Ange Postecoglou’s most important players this season, missed the loss at home against Wolves on Saturday due to a strained muscle.
After that defeat, Postecoglou emphasized that he was not a “magician,” although he refrained from attributing the entire loss to injury.
Nevertheless, given the performance of his first-choice full-backs this season, the Spurs manager will be hopeful that both of them can play when his team hosts Crystal Palace in a month.
Due to their scheduled opponents Chelsea participating in the Carabao Cup final, Spurs will not be playing this coming weekend. As a result, their next game is against Palace on Saturday, March 2.
Although Udogie “should be back” for that meeting, Postecoglou had earlier stated Porro’s illness would “take a couple of weeks.”
On the other hand, Porro seems to have given some indication about his suitability.
“Don’t sell me,” Porro said in response to an FPL player on TikTok who asked if they should sell the Spanish international.
