£22m Tottenham player spotted out with Dele Alli and Gareth Bale last night
Former Tottenham Hotspur favourite Dele has been spotted alongside Son Heung-min and Gareth Bale at a fashion event.
If you didn’t enjoy Monday night’s Everton vs. Crystal Palace match, the Burberry Winter 2024 fashion show provided a slightly different experience.
On Monday night, not many football fans were likely glued to Burberry’s YouTube account, but a few players were present in London.
For example, defender Ben Chilwell of Chelsea and winger Bukayo Saka of Arsenal were seen at the event.
While he waits for his football comeback, Everton player Dele was also present, and he was accompanied by a former Tottenham teammate.
Dele, Son Heung-min and Gareth Bale reunite
A 41-minute video from Burberry’s YouTube show showed Dele seated next to Son Heung-min, his former Tottenham teammate.
Dele was also pictured posing with Son, Chilwell, and another former Spurs favorite, Gareth Bale, on L’Officiel Hommes’ Instagram account.
Dele and Son were spotted joking about and smiling, demonstrating that they are still close friends from their time together at Tottenham.
Dele and Son racked up 204 games together at Tottenham, contributing 21 goal participations along the way.
Whilst Son – a bargain £22million signing from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 – has kicked on and become a Tottenham legend, Dele’s career has sadly gone in a different direction.
Despite being traded to Everton in 2022, the 27-year-old has only made 13 appearances for the Toffees.
After a failed loan stint with Besiktas during the 2022–2023 season, he will have missed a year of games starting on Monday.
Dele has been transparent about his difficulties with mental health, and everyone would love to see him return to playing and succeeding.
It’s wonderful to see that Son and Dele are still close, and Spurs supporters will have a lot of memories when they see them all together again.
Tottenham fans will always have a soft place for Dele, whether it’s on the field or at fashion shows, so seeing him with Son on Monday night was a beautiful, nostalgic moment.
