Nottingham Forest player set for exit – Talks ongoing, ‘goal is to reach agreement’ soon
We reported earlier this month on rumors originating from Italy that Divock Origi has three MLS teams lining up to sign him and that he may depart Nottingham Forest in the winter transfer window.
The striker signed a loan agreement with the Tricky Trees from AC Milan on the day of the summer deadline. He has played in nine league games for a total of 178 minutes, however he has not scored a goal or provided an assist, therefore this move has not gone well.
Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Los Angeles FC is interested in acquiring the 28-year-old in the winter transfer window from Nottingham Forest.
It is clarified that in order to “find an agreement” for the sale of the Belgium international, the US club is still in negotiations with the Serie A team.
Although the two clubs have not yet reached a deal, Di Marzio asserts that “a total agreement is sought” for a loan agreement with a €5 million buyout obligation.
He continues, saying that the “goal is to reach an agreement” for the deal between Los Angeles FC and the Nottingham Forest player. Thus, Origi’s “could leave” Nuno Espírito Santo’s side in the near future.
