‘Decision made’: Manager confirms Spurs target will seal £31m transfer.
Antonio Nusa: Manager confirms that the Tottenham target will finalize a significant transfer.
After negotiations with Tottenham, Club Brugge will finalize an agreement for Antonio Nusa to depart the team by the summer.
Manager Ronny Deila has expressed his hope to play the 18-year-old forward through to the conclusion of the season, and that is the case.
According to Standard Sport, Spurs and the Belgian team are continuing in negotiations, with a resolution regarding Nusa’s transfer cost still pending.
A deal estimated to be around £26 million is in the works, but according to rumors, Brugge is hoping to get at least £31 million to match the amount AC Milan paid them in 2022 for Charles De Ketelaere.
Only a few other teams are interested in signing Nusa, including Chelsea.
Deila has stated that a clause like this will help the player, and Tottenham is prepared to loan the young player back to Brugge for the balance of the season.
“It will happen this summer if it doesn’t happen now,” he told reporters in Belgium.
“What matters most is that he maintains his resolve to improve. Since he is still young, I believe he is handling the rumors well.
“A choice must be taken right now, and he must act in our best interests. We should be able to keep him till June, I hope. He will then be considerably more prepared to depart.”
