Notable name is betting favorite to become next Raiders head coach.

One oddsmaker claims that an intriguing name is at the top of the list of potential head coach candidates for the Las Vegas Raiders, who will once again be searching for a new coach.

The odds of potential Raiders head coach candidates are provided by SportsBetting.ag. There are twenty-three candidates available, with odds ranging from 5/1 to 100/1.

Jim Harbaugh, the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines, is currently ranked highest among coaches. The two current offensive coordinators for the Lions and Dolphins, Ben Johnson and Frank Smith, are listed after that. Two defensive coordinators, Jim Schwartz of the Browns and Dan Quinn of the Cowboys, are positioned below them.

Here is the list of the top 10 candidates and their odds:

Jim Harbaugh 5/1
Ben Johnson 7/1
Frank Smith 8/1
Dan Quinn 9/1
Jim Schwartz 9/1
Kellen Moore 10/1
Antonio Pierce 12/1
Brian Flores 12/1
Brian Johnson 12/1
Ejiro Evero 12/1

Harbaugh being at the top of the list is very interesting.

Since 2015, Harbaugh has led Michigan as head coach. He had three successful 10-3 seasons in his first four years in the position. The team recovered spectacularly from their 2-4 performance in a difficult COVID year. Michigan defeated Ohio State and advanced to the College Football Playoffs in both of its 2021 and 2022 seasons, finishing 12-2 overall. They have an 8-0 record this season, but they are currently mired in a sign-stealing scandal.

Harbaugh has been considering leaving Michigan and his issues with the NCAA in order to rejoin the NFL; this is something he has looked into in recent years. There may be one problem for him if he decides to head to the NFL.

From 2011 to 2014, Harbaugh led the 49ers to four straight winning seasons as head coach. His teams made it to the NFC Championship Game three times in a row.

The Raiders are currently under their fourth head coach since 2021, counting interim leaders. They certainly needed some stability.
