Report: Interesting reason Postecoglou passed on signing one player for Spurs 

According to The Guardian, Ange Postecoglou felt that his main motivation for leaving his previous club was the reason Tottenham Hotspur decided not to sign one unknown player in the summer.

James Maddison, Micky van de Ven, and Guglielmo Vicario have all taken off for Spurs since their arrival in North London during the summer.

According to the site, the Lilywhites were so convinced that a player was more motivated to leave his group than to join Spurs that they passed on him this summer.

It is revealed that Postescoglou instead opted to sign a very eager player to fill that position.

Since Tottenham appeared to lose up on the Spaniard and swiftly move their focus to Vicario in the early part of the transfer window, I believe the player in issue is David Raya.
