Hammers look set for one change
Tomorrow (Saturday) at the London Stadium against Liverpool, Konstantinos Mavropanos appears to be the only player who will change from the previous Premier League match.
The Greek international has had some excellent performances in the Europa League and Carabao Cup, and he surely merits a start against Sheffield United.
Nayef Aguerd has occasionally proven to be a strong defender, thus it would be unfair to criticise him too harshly.
He is undoubtedly prone to mistakes, thus at this stage of the campaign it is possible that Mavro will replace him on the bench.
Ben Johnson may have given himself some type of opportunity to make the team after a very good performance at Lincoln City, but we can still anticipate James Ward Prowse and Lucas Paqueta to return along with the other regulars.
Although he did provide the corner for Soucek’s goal, with the Czech player looking remarkably similar to his old self, it’s difficult to imagine Benny starting following yet another display of wasting final balls at the League One club.
Areola, Coufal, Mavropanos, Zouma, Emerson, Alvarez, Soucek, Ward-Prowse, Paqueta, Bowen, and Antonio make up the most likely team.
Hammers take a two-punch injury.

West Ham’s injury problems go on and on with Lucas Paqueta and Nayef Aguerd being hit this afternoon in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea.
The injury to Paqueta may be the more worrying of the two after he fell on his shoulder with only 10 minutes on the clock.
And bearing in mind that he missed early games this season after being kept out for several weeks with a collarbone injury before the World Cup break, the new problem could be a particular worry.
The 26 year old tried valiantly to return but the extent of the injury proved ensured sadly that the Brazilian could not play on.
And that was followed by yet another problem when Aguerd was forced off late in the second half with what looked to be either a hamstring or groin injury.
He too missed the early part of the season and then further games following the World Cup after being hit with another when involved for Morocco.
