James Maddison and Manor Solomon absolutely loved 26-year-old Tottenham player’s performance yesterday
James Maddison and Manor Solomon were both very impressed with Guglielmo Vicario’s performance yesterday.
After playing his debut game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Italian goalie posted on Instagram.
It served as the ideal initiation for Tottenham’s new recruits into life in North London.
Yesterday’s match between Spurs and Shakhtar Donetsk attracted a sizable attendance.
The supporters were basically just there for one man, despite the fact that they would have been thrilled to watch Tottenham’s new additions in action.
The most talked-about topic of the summer has been Harry Kane’s future, and he demonstrated yesterday that these rumors aren’t having an impact on his performances.
The 30-year-old scored four goals before the audience clapped for him on his own at the end of the game.
Guglielmo Vicario, the replacement goalie, didn’t have much to do at the other end of the field.
Vicario’s performance was praised by James Maddison and Manor Solomon even if he was unable to record his first clean sheet.
Maddison and Solomon impressed with Vicario
The Italian was praised by James Maddison, and Solomon was impressed with his new goalie.
Out of all of Tottenham’s new signings this summer, Vicario’s role in the squad has gone under the radar.
After more than a decade, Hugo Lloris will move on this summer although he’s still lingering at the club right now.
Fraser Forster impressed in his place last season, but there’s no question that Vicario will be in between the sticks next weekend against Brentford.
Although he wasn’t put to a lot of test throughout the preseason, he was helpless to save Shakhtar’s lone goal.
Vicario’s performance yesterday impressed Solomon and Madison, and he will be looking to leave a similar legacy to the French World Cup victor.
If Vicario hasn’t already felt the pressure, playing Brentford the next weekend will intensify it.
