West Ham could pay £100m in January for striker with 20 league goals since start of last season

West Ham United are ready to sign a striker in January, with David Moyes eyeing up a shrewd £14 million deal.

In the January transfer window, West Ham’s David Moyes is keen to bring in a world-class striker.

Bringing in a player that fits into his system and plays in a manner like to Michael Antonio will be crucial for the Hammers boss.

The 27-year-old Boulaye Dia is one player who West Ham has been connected to over the previous few years, and Moore is reportedly a huge fan of the player.

It appears that the Hammers are prepared to move forward with the Senegalese ace right now.

West Ham plans to hire a striker in January.

Il Mattino reports that the Hammers are prepared to spend £14 million to move Dia from Salernitana to the London Stadium for the upcoming winter season.

I believe it would be excellent business for West Ham if they could sign the 27-year-old for just £14 million.

Dia is a perfect fit for our system because of his amazing physicality, willingness to run the channels, and strong work ethic.

In 46 league appearances since the beginning of the previous season, he has scored 20 goals for Salernitana (Transfermarkt). He is also a very good finisher.

Playing with Dia in front of Lucas Paqueta and between Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus, in my opinion, would make us an extremely potent offensive team that no defender would want to face.

Naturally, the Senegal international would be a significant improvement over Antonio, who is getting older, at the London Stadium.

I think it would be a very good move for West Ham to recruit the Salernitana striker during the January transfer window.
