Done Deal: Tottenham have reached verbal agreement to sign ‘incredible’ £40m striker
Tottenham Hotspur will now turn their attentions towards Bournemouth forward Dominik Solanke as they look for a new striker in January.
Spurs are still searching for a center striker, even with Richarlison’s recent upswing in form—he has scored four goals in his past three games, including one against Everton last time out.
There was a gap in the front line when Harry Kane left in the summer. It was there that Heung-Min Son performed before to Richarlison’s comeback.
And now, Dominic Solanke is reportedly a target for Tottenham, according to The Sun.
Tottenham looking at signing Dominic Solanke
As the January window gets closer, Solanke is reportedly becoming a target for Tottenham, according to a report from The Sun.
The last time out, Solanke scored an incredible hat-trick against Nottingham Forest. The former player for Liverpool and Chelsea has already scored more than ten goals this year.
Spurs are apparently taking notice of his play and would like to bring in a new number nine if possible.
After turning down a £40 million bid for their top player in the summer, Bournemouth may expect a high price for the striker.
Arsenal is likewise quite interested in Solanke.
Solanke would improve this Spurs side
If Tottenham is to continue pushing for a spot in the top four, they will definitely need to add players in the January transfer window.
We believe that Ange Postecoglou deserves full support from Daniel Levy and associates because she has accomplished so much.
Clearly, Solanke is having a great season at Bournemouth. He wouldn’t take long to adjust and could start helping Spurs right away.
As far as we know, Bournemouth is performing well under new manager Andoni Iraola and is not in any hurry to sell.
Therefore, Tottenham might have to spend a lot of money to acquire Solanke. They risk losing him to another club if they don’t.
