‘A great privilege’ – goal machine reacts after signing for Tottenham Hotspur
Bournemouth goal machine has taken to social media to state that he cannot wait to get started at Tottenham Hotspur after officially completing his move to the club.
Dominic Solanke arrives at Tottenham
It has been an open secret for the last few days that Solanke was on the cusp of a move to Spurs and the centre-forward’s arrival was confirmed by the North London club on Saturday.
In his first interview with Tottenham’s official channel, the striker seemed quite excited, remarking that the team’s style of play and the club’s ambition convinced him to come on board.
The 26-year-old was officially unveiled in front of the Spurs fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium ahead of the friendly against Bayern Munich on Sunday, with the striker getting an excellent reception.
Dominic Solanke can’t wait to get started
Tottenham’s newest addition has now taken to social media to admit that he is raring to go ahead of the new season and cannot wait to don the club’s colours.
Spurs Web Opinion
Postecoglou has repeatedly emphasised that he wants players who are desperate to be at Tottenham and that is evidently true in Solanke’s case, with the striker clearly over the moon with this opportunity to showcase his talents at one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League.
I think Solanke could end up being a really underrated signing this season.

Samuel Chukwueze has looked very bright during pre-season, following the disappointing 2023-24 campaign, and Paulo Fonseca appears to be onto something. As highlighted by Andrea Longoni, the manager will have to do this with Emerson Royal as well.
Emerson royal is scheduled to arrive this evening, more specifically around 21:45 CEST, and he will become the third signing of the summer. However, he certainly doesn’t excite the fanbase as much as Alvaro Morata and Strahinja Pavlovic did.
As highlighted by Andrea Longoni in his latest editorial for MilanNews, we have seen promising signs from Chukwueze in pre-season, largely thanks to Fonseca. The manager must now do the same with Emerson Royal, putting his career back on the right path.
“The third signing, Emerson Royal, was greeted by the Rossoneri fans with more scepticism than Morata and Pavlovic. The Brazilian will be playing in a position where, compared to recent years, there is certainly room for improvement, also to raise the general level of the team.
“He didn’t do so well in the Premier League (but Conte respected him), while in La Liga a few years earlier he seemed like a player capable of doing great things. Fonseca will have to be good at revitalising him, just as he seems to be doing with Chukwueze.
“The Nigerian seems different from the decidedly disappointing last season. Caution, because we have only seen a few friendly matches, but if he showed these improvements in official matches too, then Milan could count on ‘a new signing’,” he writes.
The season opener is scheduled for next week but before that, Milan will take on Monza in the Trofeo Silvio Berlusconi. We won’t get to see Emerson Royal then, but some of the other new signings will make an appearance for the Rossoneri.
