Michigan lands commitment from 4-star ’26 QB Brady Hart

The Michigan Wolverines learned of a new commitment to the football program on Tuesday. Class of 2026 quarterback Brady Hart, a four-star recruit, announced his decision to commit to Michigan.

Hart announced his decision on X, the website formerly known as Twitter.

Michigan recruiting: Breaking down new QB commit Brady Hart

Hart’s announcement came with a home, signaling Ann Arbor as his residence starting in the Fall of 2026. Hart made sure to also add a “Go Blue” to the party.

Michigan landed Hart over the likes of Clemson and Ohio State. The Wolverines reached out of state to get him, as the talented young quarterback hails from Florida.

With Alex Orji in line to play quarterback this year for the Wolverines, Hart’s commitment at this moment secures their future for a little bit. Granted, a 2026 commitment today could be different in a few months from now. But for the moment, this is stellar news for Michigan and the football program. Starting this year, they’ll be competing in an expanded and more competitive Big Ten. Oregon, Washington, UCLA, and USC all will join the conference, which is already littered with traditionally strong teams like Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Iowa, and Wisconsin.

Needless to say, today is a great day for the Michigan Wolverines. We’ll see if Hart’s commitment sticks, and if he pans out on the right path too for added measure.
