Report: Spurs makes top three PL Clubs for Ligue 1 full-back

Tottenham Hotspur is thinking about making a summer transfer for Lille youngster Tiago Santos, according to Dean Jones’ Sports Lens column.
Santos, who joined Lille from the Portuguese team Estoril last summer, has made a name for himself as one of Ligue 1’s top young full-backs.
The right-back, who has also been pushed further forward on occasion, is reportedly attracting interest from many Premier League clubs and is already regarded to be making waves.
Tottenham are keeping an eye on Tiago Santos
According to Jones, Tottenham has been scouting several Lille players in addition to Santos.
The reporter notes that while the 21-year-old is currently only being considered for “a watching brief,” the Lilywhites are anticipated to be looking for a versatile full-back come summertime.
According to Jones, Santos is also being watched by Aston Villa and West Ham United. The Villans are rumored to be eyeing Santos as a possible replacement for the injury-prone Matty Cash, while the Hammers are believed to have been impressed by the young player’s skill set.
During the summer transfer season, Tottenham appears to be strengthening at full-back. Emerson and Davies are the two most likely candidates to be sacrificed, with the Welshman being more adaptable.
Santos is one of Europe’s top young right-backs right now, and Postecoglou may think the young player can compete with Pedro Porro.
