Nayef Aguerd wants to leave West Ham United as £30m exit news emerges

Sean Whetstone reports that Nayef Aguerd’s representation are searching for another club, therefore it appears that he will be leaving West Ham.

The Morocco international’s days at the London Stadium “appear to be numbered,” according to the 6’2 editor, who tweeted on Thursday, December 4. The Hammers won’t stand in his way if they can recoup the £30 million they paid to recruit him from Rennes in 2022.

The 27-year-old has made 21 appearances for the Irons so far this season, but he hasn’t played in any of their last four games. In preparation for the forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations, he has now joined the Morocco team.

The Moroccan has played a major role in the first half of this season, but at times his play has suffered and he has made some previously unnoticed mistakes.

Konstantinos Mavropanos has had an opportunity to shine since Aguerd’s absence from the team over the last few weeks, and David Moyes now believes the Greek might step in for the veteran midfielder going ahead.
