‘Willing to join’ : Spurs leading the race to sign ‘Europe’s hottest prospect’ with 11 goals and 18 assists
Tottenham continue to be linked with PSV Eindhoven starlet Johan Bakayoko.
One of “Europe’s hottest prospects” is the 20-year-old.
Throughout 25 games this season across all competitions, he has 4 goals and 13 assists. In 62 games since making his senior debut, he has totaled 11 goals and 18 assists for the Dutch team.
Numerous elite teams, including Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund, have expressed interest in him as a result of his performances.
The Belgian is rumored to be one of the attackers that Ange Postecoglou is interested in signing in January.
Alan Hutton, a former Tottenham player, has now praised the young player and said he would strengthen Ange’s team.
To Football Insider, he said:
“I continue to think Tottenham would advance to a higher level if they were to acquire a striker similar to Ivan Toney.”
“I think Son has performed incredibly well, but a center-forward would give them more options as he can also play in other positions.”
Spurs won’t close the door because he is very crafty, has strength and speed, and can score a goal.
“You will improve if you have the chance to sign a player of that caliber to your team.
“If the price was right, I wouldn’t refuse it.”
Johan Bakayoko has everything it takes to become a superstar, so we could be making a great long-term investment in him.
Though he can play on either flank, his primary position is right wing. He is a perfect Ange player because of his versatility.
