Watch: Game changing moment for Spurs as Romero gets sent off for a wild tackle after a lengthy VAR review

Tottenham has lost a man and Chelsea has equalized after leading 1-0 and having a goal disallowed.

So far, the first half has been somewhat chaotic, with a lot going on.

Within the first six minutes, Spurs scored once more, but it was disregarded.

Sterling’s goal was disallowed on the other end due to a handball.

However, Caicedo scored an incredible goal from outside the area shortly after.

Nevertheless, the VAR rejected it following a thorough review, concluding that Jackson was offside and impeding the goal.

However, the VAR kept looking for a possible red card and penalty as the goal was being built.

Romeo hit Enzo hard, and even though he gained possession of the ball, his follow-through struck the Argentine high in the shins.

After reviewing the footage on the pitchside monitor, the referee ultimately declared a red card and penalty.

Palmer scored from the spot, while Vicario almost missed the opportunity to stop it.
