‘Superb’: Brendan Rodgers says ‘special’ Celtic player has been brilliant in training recently

Celtic have a number of players at the club who are literally playing for their futures.

Brendan Rodgers mentioned this week that Celtic has to reduce their roster in January, and that time is running out for individuals who are on the outskirts but want to stay with the team to stand up.

And it appears that one player is doing just that. Brendan Rodgers gave particular recognition to Hyeongyu Oh after the South Korean scored Celtic’s late victory over St Mirren last night.

In addition, Rodgers disclosed how diligent Oh works behind the scenes at the team, even if the Celtic manager was thrilled with the goal.

Celtic TV quoted Rodgers as saying, “I’m really happy for him.”

“For the guys who aren’t playing so much, you always have to recognise and acknowledge their efforts, which I do with them.

“He looks after his body, his diet, everything is superb. He’s so professional, he looks at his training and he knows

He is able to enter and have an influence when called upon.

Oh is benefiting from Jurgen Klinsmann’s guidance, according to Celtic

Jurgen Klinsmann, the manager of South Korea, offered Oh some counsel not too long ago on how to develop into a productive striker. TBR Celtic shared this story.

Back in September, Klinsmann said to the Celtic attacker, “I tell him, ‘Prove what you can do, do extra work.'” I inform him that it will take time and is a process. Oh have the skill to play on a global scale.

And he has, for sure. In fact, Klinsmann thinks the Hoops leader has such high expectations for him that he will eventually turn into a “superstar.”

For the child, last night was a new beginning. Oh at last had some time to demonstrate his abilities, and he had a quick impression on them.

As the weeks go by, let’s see how he does. The Korean has two games left before the international break to further impress Brendan Rodgers and demonstrate his worth as a player the Celtic boss must retain, with Ross County and Atletico Madrid looming.
