I am a Tottenham fan – Harry Kane wants Spurs to win Premier League
Tottenham this season, according to Harry Kane, would love to win the Premier League.
The club’s all-time leading scorer, who departed in the summer to join Bayern Munich, is taking in Ange Postecoglou’s early-season turnaround at Spurs.
Despite having just played eight games, they are currently in first place in the Premier League and appear capable of challenging Manchester City and Arsenal for the championship.
The England captain would want to see his previous team finally win a trophy after having a successful debut season at his current club.
I am a Tottenham fan and I would love to see Tottenham succeed, I have made that plain my entire career,” he remarked.
Spurs are performing fairly well. It’s wonderful to see. The manager is doing a terrific job for them with the manner they are playing, as I believe I’ve said before.
“The fans are solidly behind the squad, and after the previous several years, it’s definitely what they needed. I’ll continue to follow Tottenham and the Premier League.
Despite the fact that there is still a long way to go, the manager was right when he remarked that there is no reason why the fans shouldn’t be happy and excited about how things are progressing. I’m hoping they can go on.
“I would want Tottenham to win the Premier League more than any other team.
Additionally, I must respect Bayern Munich. There is no doubt in the fans’ minds that I will always have a warm place for Spurs, but I must focus solely on Bayern Munich in order to lead my team to the greatest degree of success.
“Therefore, I am certain that there will be inquiries, especially when Tottenham is performing well.
Of course, I wish them the best of luck, but for now, I’m focused on trying to do well for Bayern.
After a brilliant start in which he has nine goals and five assists in nine games, Kane has already demonstrated that his head is firmly in Munich.
“In terms of the start, I’ve been really happy,” he stated.
My entire career, I have been upfront about it. Since I support Tottenham, I would like to see them succeed.
Harry Kane said:
“There’s always a little bit of extra pressure when you join a new team. The idea is that since you were bought for a high price, everyone immediately expects you to start scoring right away and start winning games, but that’s not always the case.
“There are many additional factors involved in a transfer, including, as I’ve already mentioned, just the personal ones like looking for housing, staying in hotels, and being separated from my family.
“I’m not used to any of it. I’m quite proud of being able to have started out the way I have.
“Of course, I always felt like I had more opportunities to score goals, and I definitely could have done so.
“But in general, if you’d have told me before the transfer this is what I’d be on, the amount of goals and assists and wins, I’d have taken that so definitely happy with that.”
