‘Very little problem’

That will keep his remarkable record going of having only missed two of the last 132 Premier League matches since signing for West Ham.

However, the story does imply that Bowen might be rested for the trip to Germany for the Europa League.

According to Hammers News, Bowen had a little limp when he was substituted during extra time on Sunday, but according to their sources, the player is fine.

Given that David Moyes is once again rotating the roster, he is unlikely to play in the Europa League game.

“We were informed previously that the player had just received a minor injury during the game against Sheffield United and that there wasn’t much wrong with him that wouldn’t be fixed by a few days of rest…

Fortunately, according to our understanding, he will be OK for the Newcastle game.
