‘Pick me’: James Maddison mocks 24-year-old Tottenham player after what he posted on Instagram yesterday

James Maddison of Tottenham Hotspur made the decision to have fun after seeing Pedro Porro yesterday hold a giveaway on his Instagram.

Ange Postecoglou deserves a tonne of praise for turning things around at the club since the atmosphere around Spurs appears to be at an all-time high. Since his arrival, Maddison has also contributed significantly and has been highly active on social media.

Everyone anticipated that James Maddison would make an immediate impact at Tottenham, but there were reservations about Pedro Porro’s ability to adapt to Postecoglou’s style.

The 24-year-old was brought in as a replacement for Emerson Royal in that wing-back position when he joined Spurs from Sporting Lisbon in January of this year.

He is playing as a full-back naturally under Postecoglou, and he appears far better in this capacity than he ever did under Conte last season.
