‘Reached an agreement’: Two players have just agreed to leave Tottenham and join the same club
Tottenham Hotspur may now be close to sanctioning the sales of both Tanguy Ndombele and Davinson Sanchez to Galatasaray.
Journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, who shared the developments on X, claims that.
As the transfer news developed, Sabuncuoglu published a number of posts.
The journalist began by confirming that Tanguy Ndombele’s contract terms have been agreed upon by Galatasaray.
Ndombele is now in discussions with Tottenham, according to Sabuncuoglu, and action will start if Spurs accept an offer.
“Tanguy Ndombele and Galatasaray agreed on the terms of the contract,” he stated. He is corresponding with Tottenham.
“The plane in Paris will depart for London as soon as Tottenham accepts the offer!”
This is no doubt significant news given some Spurs fans may have considered any chance of Ndombele leaving to have passed.
Of course deadline day has now passed in England but the window remains open in Turkey until September 15.
Sanchez has also reached an agreement with Galatasaray
Galatasaray and Davinson Sanchez have now both achieved a contract deal, according to Sabuncuoglu.
The contract, according to the journalist, is set up for three years with an additional year available.
He declared: “Galatasaray and Tottenham’s Davinson Sanchez have reached a 3+1 year contract.”
Additionally, some supporters could believe that it would be risky to trade Sanchez to Galatasaray even though Ndombele isn’t now a player for Tottenham.
With Sanchez gone, the Spurs’ starting duo would only have Eric Dier and Ashley Phillips as backup options.
Despite their strong starts, Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven are under a lot of pressure to avoid getting hurt.
Of course, someone like Ben Davies could be seen as a potential middle ground.
In either case, Spurs’ future intentions may be significantly impacted by this transfer update.
If the rumors are accurate and Ndombele and Sanchez might potentially depart for Galatasaray, Tottenham would likely look to sign more players in January.
