DAVID RAYA LIKES TOTTENHAM’S RUMOURED MOVE FOR ‘EXTRAORDINARY’ STAR, BUT THERE’S A TWIST
Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya liked Fabrizio Romano’s Instagram post which stated that Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur are pushing to sign Barcelona star, Ansu Fati.
Tottenham, who was eliminated from the EFL Cup on Tuesday, appeared to be getting their man at one point, but Brighton stepped in.
After a late twist on Wednesday night, it appears like Ansu Fati will be joining Brighton rather than Spurs as he moves to the Premier League ahead of a season-long loan.
However, it appears that Spurs are continuing their pursuit of the Barcelona player as Fati arrives in England, according to the most recent information from Sky Sports.
In any case, the final few days of the 2023 summer transfer season are frantic as you might expect, and it will only grow noisier as the Friday deadline approaches.
However, David Raya, the goalkeeper for Arsenal who is on loan from Brentford and was a target of Spurs until the two clubs couldn’t agree on a transfer fee, loved the message that transfer analyst Romano wrote on Instagram about Fati-Tottenham.
Fati heading to the Premier League
Although everything is subject to change at any moment, it looks like Brighton and Roberto De Zerbi are going to land their man. He would be a top-notch addition to the Europa League team because, in the words of his Barcelona manager, Xavi, he is a “extraordinary” player.
The 20-year-old, who first gained attention as a teenager, has just reached a roadblock and needs to be helped.
Both De Zerbi and Postecoglou would make excellent managers for the young player because in addition to the aggressive systems they deploy, they are also excellent man-managers.

‘Breaking transfer news’: Sky Sports News have just delivered update about Brennan Johnson
Nottingham Forest forward Brennan Johnson is set for fresh talks with Tottenham Hotspur over a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The 22-year-old winger has been linked with a move to North London all window, but no bid for the Welsh international has been lodged from Ange Postecoglou’s side.
However, Thomas Frank and his Brentford side have had two bids rejected for the Forest Academy graduate, with the latest bid tallying £43 million.
Johnson could yet still stay at the City Ground, however, a move to Tottenham hasn’t been ruled out with just one day left in the transfer window.
Sky Sports’ update on Brennan Johnson
Johnson was scheduled for additional negotiations with Spurs on a move to the club, it was revealed on Sky Sports News earlier this hour.
Brennan Johnson, who is a target for several clubs, including Brentford and Tottenham, is the subject of breaking transfer news.
“The breaking news is that Tottenham and Nottingham Forest will speak about Brennan Johnson again today.
“He has been Tottenham’s main target this summer. We are getting closer to that time, according to Forest head Steve Cooper, who stated earlier today that “if anything is going to happen.” There are “no official news,” he continued, “but we carry on as usual.”
“However, Spurs are set to hold fresh talks later today.”
As previously mentioned, the Reds are holding out or £50 million for Johnson and won’t entertain any bids less than that figure for the 22-year-old.
However, with just a day left in the window, Forest need to have a replacement lined up just in case Tottenham match his valuation and Johnson departs the City Ground.
