A Rangers fan claimed that Neil Lennon’s followers were ‘jealous’ when Celtic hired Ange Postecoglou as their manager after Michael Beale was sacked. Neil Lennon responded by calling the Rangers supporter’s assertion false.
Another Rangers manager with less than a year of experience has been fired at Ibrox!
As Neil Lennon mentioned, not that long ago, many in Glasgow were ‘laughing’ at their competitors for signing the less well-known Ange Postecoglou to the Scottish Premiership, as he told PLZ Soccer.
In contrast, he led Celtic to the championship in just a year and, this summer, he was leaving the club with the Triple in hand.
In the meantime, Rangers can’t even get their manager to last a year, with no clear idea as to who will now replace Michael Beale after he was booted out following their defeat to Aberdeen.
Celtic, especially when they scouted Ange Postecoglou, proved how it should be done, but when a Rangers fan expressed jealousy in that, given their club’s abject choice of appointments in recent years, Neil Lennon was having none of it.

Rangers eject Beale
Lennon stated, “I have to disagree with the fan who was envious when Celtic signed Ange.
“As Ange entered. ‘Who is this guy?’ was the general reaction. and in the middle of the city. Then let’s put things to rest because they were laughing.
Ange Postecoglou getting stronger
It was hard to see big Ange leave this summer, but it was an understandable move given that he is going to an English Premier League side and the finances they have got to offer.
This is something that he just couldn’t turn down and now he is absolutely thriving at Tottenham.
Despite losing star man Harry Kane to Bayern Munich, they are unbeaten after seven Premier League games and sitting second in the table.
Whilst English supporters have been blown away by what Postecoglou has brought to the table, it won’t surprise those at Parkhead one bit because this magic was showcased on a weekly basis.
