Richarlison, a striker for Tottenham, says he will seek mental health treatment when he returns to north London this week.
The Brazil and Tottenham striker has acknowledged that, after struggling to score goals at the club and international levels, he needs “psychological” help to go back to his best.
Richarlison sobbed after being replaced during Brazil’s 5-1 victory over Bolivia over the weekend, and he has only scored one league goal since moving for £60 million from Everton.
The former Watford player says he will pay for a licensed psychologist to assist him in improving his mental state. According to him, I’m going back to England to seek psychiatric assistance from a psychologist to work on my mind. He said this to Globo Esporte.
