Celtic player’s entourage ‘already working’ on transfer exit
Luis Palma‘s entourage are reportedly working on a summer transfer for the winger.
Palma joined Celtic in the summer of 2023 and scored 10 goals and assisted as many in his maiden season at the club, although he ultimately fell out of favour.
He was sent out on loan to Olympiacos in January of this year. He won the Greek top-flight with the side, although he is currently due to return to Glasgow this summer.
While the Honduran is expected to report to Celtic for pre-season, his entourage are ‘already working’ on a summer transfer, claims oncenoticias.hn.
It remains to be seen whether Palma would depart the Scottish Premiership champions on a permanent or temporary basis, with his current Parkhead deal not due to expire until the summer of 2028.
Palma spoke last week to the media in his homeland regarding his future and the recent season: “Winning titles is always good,” he said.
“This season has been a great learning experience for me. Now we hope the upcoming preseason will be the best. I have to return to Celtic.
“The experience was very nice, because I’d been there before (after playing for Aris), and being in the biggest team in Greece is very nice.”
Asked about interest from other clubs, he added: “I have a contract with Celtic, I can’t talk about any other team. From the moment I have a contract, I have a chance of earning a spot.”
