West Brom eyeing possible free agent move to kick off summer transfer business amid reported talks

West Brom kicked off their transfer business last summer with the signing of Ousmane Diakite, and they could be set for another move into the free agent market.

According to reports in Africa, Albion are reportedly keen on out of contract FC Sion defender Gora Diouf.

Diouf, plucked from Senegal by the Swiss side in 2022 – is out of contract this summer and has already indicated that he is not willing to sign an extension.

And early reports have claimed that West Brom are keen to secure his services.

The 21-year-old has impressed for his side last season, playing 23 times as they finished in the bottom half of the Swiss Super League.

The reports state that Albion have already made contact with the defender and his representatives over a possible move.

However, Albion are not the only club in for his services.

According to reports, Turkish sides Trabzonspor and Samsunspor have also been alerted to his situation and are keen to bring him in.
