Borussia Monchengladbach preview: Bottom-half Gladbach

Under the management of former Bayer Leverkusen and Young Boys boss Gerardo Seoane, Borussia Monchengladbach have been entertaining to watch throughout the last couple of seasons and their 33 Bundesliga games this year have consisted of 111 goals.

However, once again, they have underwhelmed in terms of their effectiveness as they begin the final day of the season sitting in the bottom-half of the table. They were most recently beaten 2-0 by champions Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena last weekend.

Wolfsburg preview: Bottom-half Wolfsburg

Former Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl remains in charge of Wolfsburg for the time being but he is the favourite for the vacancy at Norwich City in the Championship. The Austrian has overseen something of a collapse in the last couple of months.

They were in contention for the European spots until quite recently and now Wolfsburg come into this one on the back of a 2-2 draw with Hoffenheim at the Volkswagen Arena to mean that they are now winless in their last nine matches.

Borussia Monchengladbach vs Wolfsburg prediction

Both Borussia Monchengladbach and Wolfsburg have been underwhelming and underperforming throughout the last few months of the campaign when it had appeared that both would and should have been challenging for a top six spot and the European qualifying places in the Bundesliga. They have both remained entertaining to watch whether they have been playing well or not, though, and both teams scoring would appear a good bet for this one.
