Done Deal: Evan Ferguson To West Ham Here we go

Brighton and Hove Albion are reportedly close to making their decision over the possible loaning of their impressive young (injury prone) striker Evan Ferguson:

West Ham have long held an interest in the once -quoted £100m striker but had been told that the Seagulls would not be making a loaning decision until the end of the January window owing to the injury to their own main man Danny Wellbeck.

Their main striker played nearly 70 minutes in the 3-1 defeat of Manchester United today so is likely recovered and raring to go.

According to the dailyexpress.co.uk last night, their article entitled: “Evan Ferguson to West Ham transfer latest with Brighton decision imminent” claims that The Hammers, along with Bournemouth should hear any day as to Ferguson’s availability for loan in the second half of the season.

Keeping a club waiting until the end of the window can stop them making alternative arrangements, ending up without a new signing when the window shuts.

Both West Ham and Bournemouth are involved in their own injury crises and urgently need reinforcements.

Ironically Evan Ferguson is out with an ankle injury at present – not for the first time – so he could be a calculated gamble for either club should they decide to strike a loan agreement with his parent club.

Sounds a typical Januar loan in case they need him themselves.

From the reports every day linking the Hammers with about a dozen different strikers it is clear that the Irons aren’t just sitting around hoping for Ferguson to arrive on the doorstep.
