Breaking news: Tennessee Vols football land 5 star OT over Alabama and LSU Tigers welcome.

Tennessee Vols recruiting target named a top performer at Navy All-American Bowl ahead of his commitment announcement

2026 three-star offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, a Tennessee Vols recruiting target, was named by 247Sports as one of the top performers at the first day of Navy All-American Bowl practices this week.

Osenda, 6-foot-7/320 lbs from Chattanooga, TN (he’s originally from Alberta, Canada), is rated by 247Sports as the No. 31 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 11 player in the state of Tennessee.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Osenda’s recruiting ranking soar over the next few months.

From 247Sports: Osenda is one of the younger players in attendance, but you wouldn’t know that given his size as he’s over 6-foot-6 and 330 pounds. He worked at multiple spots up front for the East and looked to be the most comfortable on the right side of the line. In addition to his hulking frame, we were really encouraged by his ability to refortify and reset during 1-on1-s. The Canadian transplant is set to announce a college commitment on Saturday.

Osenda is set to announce his college commitment on Saturday (January 11). On3’s Steve Wiltfong predicted earlier this month that Osenda will commit to Tennessee.

Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, and South Carolina are also in the mix for Osenda.

Tennessee currently has seven players committed to its 2026 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 5 in the nation.
