HOT-STEPPING BOK’S STAR BRUTAL INTRODUCTION TO Japan League One

Springbok star Kurt-Lee Arendse made his much-awaited debut for Dynaboars against D-Rocks in the opening round of Japan’s League One.

The 28-year-old donned the No.15 jersey as the new fullback for the Dynabours and squared off against D-Rocks fullback Israel Folau.

He finished with 13 carries for 110 metres, beating nine defenders, including a special moment to remember – a try to cap off his first game as a Dynabour.

The Springbok finished a try in brutal style – running straight through the last defender, reserve flyhalf Hikaru Tamura.

The power bump off was surprising from the hot-stepping international wing.

Arendse’s try helped the Dynabours to a strong 31-19 win over the newly-promoted D-Rocks to get their season off to a flying start.

Mark my words, he will not be renewing with the Bulls. He will move here when the contract ends. A way to take himself to at least two more world cups while earning bucket loads of money and none of that travelling they do in the URC and Champions cup.
