Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus and captain Siya Kolisi both take home millions every month.
Springboks coach head coach Rassie Erasmus’ salary has been revealed.
Meanwhile, we now know how much Bok captain Kolisi earns too.
RASSIE – ONE OF THE HIGHEST-PAID COACHES
As reported on Ruck, Springboks coach Erasmus takes £650 000 a year (almost R15 million).
This equates to roughly R1.5 million (R1.47 million) a month.
Meaning, he is one of the highest-paid coaches in World Rugby. In fact, only English coach Steve Borthwick earns more than Rassie.
The English coach earns £700 000 a year which is roughly R1.6 million a month. Therefore, Rassie is the second highest-paid coach in the world.
SPRINGBOK CAPTAIN AMONGST TOP EARNERS
Springbok captain, Kolisi, is amongst the Boks top earners.
Furthermore, he is one of the highest-paid players in World Rugby.
Kolisi takes home roughly R1.55 million (R1 550 877) per month. This equates to a staggering R358k per week (R357 894) and an estimate of R71 578 per day.
Therefore, Kolisi earns slightly more than coach Rassie.
However, there is a couple of Springboks who earn more than both men. So, here is the highest-paid Bok and his staggering salary. Meanwhile, the likes of Cheslin Kolbe, Eben Etzebeth, Faf de Klerk and Handre Pollard all earn similar salaries.
