Camp Snoopy’s newest ride takes the youngest thrill seekers on an exciting ride they’ll never forget.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Racers, on your marks! Snoopy’s Racing Railway, Carowinds’ newest family-friendly coaster, is officially open at Camp Snoopy.
Snoopy’s Racing Railway takes riders through giggle-inducing twists and turns while launching them from 0 to 31 mph in seconds. Riders will take two laps around the coaster’s 804-foot track.
And with a height requirement of just 36 inches, Snoopy’s Racing Railway is perfect for even the smallest thrill seekers.
“From the rider experience to the imaginative theming, Snoopy’s Racing Railway showcases our commitment to bringing world-class family entertainment to the Carolinas,” Brian Oerding, Carowinds park manager, said in a news release. “Guest feedback has been extremely positive, and as one of our new flagship attractions in Camp Snoopy, we’re sure it will provide fun-filled adventures for generations of park guests.”
Snoopy’s Racing Railway is the third coaster in Camp Snoopy and the 14th overall at Carowinds, including Fury 325, Copperhead Strike and Thunder Striker. It’s one of two new attractions opening in Camp Snoopy this year, alongside Charlie Brown’s River Raft Blast.
In addition to the new two rides, Carowinds will add new splash play zones to Camp Snoopy, which feature extra shade and water features. Carowinds will also renovate the Camp Snoopy store where guests can meet the “Peanuts” characters.
