Twelve BVB players called up for international duty



A total of 12 BVB first-team players will be away with their countries in the upcoming international window: Karim Adeyemi, Pascal Groß, Waldemar Anton and Felix Nmecha have been called up to the Germany national team and will be involved in the UEFA Nations League Final Four in Stuttgart and Munich. The Borussia players who are in action for their national teams will not be present when BVB start training on 2 June and will start their preparations for the FIFA Club World Cup at a later date.

The Black & Yellows who have been called up will play for their countries in the UEFA Nations League, World Cup qualification and friendly fixtures. The international friendly between Sweden (Daniel Svensson) and Algeria (Ramy Bensebaini) will see two Borussia players go head-to-head. Kjell Wätjen and Almugera Kabar will represent the Germany U19 national team at the European Championships in Romania.
