He’s leaving: Tottenham has approved transfer request of place just months after contract extension

Tottenham want to keep Dejan Kulusevski but a certain price tag may sway them

A fresh report has shed light on Tottenham’s stance on Dejan Kulusevski as the interest in the winger’s services continues to heat up ahead of the summer transfer window.

Kulusevski was Tottenham’s most consistent performer for the first few months of the campaign, but the versatile attacker is currently sidelined with an injury.

Ange Postecoglou’s men hope to have the Swede back for the second leg of the Europa League quarterfinal against Eintracht Frankfurt and they will hope that he has a key role to play in their final run-in.

However, it has been reported over recent days that Napoli are eyeing a summer move for Kulusevski, with Antonio Conte thought to be keen to reunite with the 24-year-old.

How much will Tottenham demand for Dejan Kulusevski?

GiveMeSport have now revealed that it is not just Napoli, but also AC Milan who have expressed an interest in taking Kulusevski back to Serie A this summer.

However, the report says that Tottenham Hotspur are determined to keep hold of the former Juventus man as they see him as one of their key players.

The North London club have no intention of making things easy for any suitors this summer, especially given that Kulusevski’s current deal runs until 2028.

The publication adds that it would take an offer ‘well in excess of £50m’ for Tottenham to consider cashing on the Swede this summer.

What is Kulusevski’s stance on his own future?

Interestingly, GiveMeSport say that the prospect of returning to Italy in the future may appeal to the Tottenham man.

However, there is no indication that Dejan Kulusevski is yearning to leave Spurs at the end of this season even though the club have had a poor campaign so far.

Tottenham are hoping that their hardline stance prevents any suitor from enquiring about the winger’s availability.
