97% complete: Milan set to land another deal in matter of hours: Romano Confirms

AC Milan are closing in on the signing of young talent Alexander Røssing-Lelesiit from Lillestrøm SK, according to reports.

According to the Norwegian portal nettavisen.no, Milan are ready to pay around €5m to secure the signing of Røssing-Lelesiit, even if no offer has been presented yet. The 18-year-old winger is currently at Lillestrøm, a team that plays in the Norwegian second division.

He made his debut for them in the Eliteserien at the end of May 2024 and impressed greatly at the end of last season despite LSK having a disastrous season that ended in relegation to the OBOS league.

There have been ‘recent talks’ about a move to Milan for Røssing-Lelesiit and around 40 million kroner (€5m) should soon be put on the table. He will be initially signed for Milan Futuro to start with, the U23 team that plays in Serie C.

However, the road to the senior team could be short Røssing-Lelesiit develops quickly. The winger’s development will also be part of the discussions between the parties and whether he should be involved with the first team immediately.

There is expected to be massive interest in the teenage talent from several top leagues. A current scenario is also that a club secures his services in the winter, but that the transfer is completed in the summer.

Molde and Bodø/Glimt are also strongly interested in Røssing-Lelesiit and are considering concrete moves. This will most likely happen after the international window closes on Monday next week – if the 18-year-old is not sold before then.

Fabrizio Romano has also confirmed that Milan are ‘closing in’ on the deal, with ‘a verbal agreement almost done and formal steps to follow’.
