Kaizer Chiefs
Kaizer Chiefs have new players arriving and players departing Naturena as we speak. Here are the latest player movements.
Kaizer Chiefs are in reassembling their squad with player movements – exits and signings – imminent.
Kaizer Chiefs will look a bit different when the PSL January transfer window commences.
NEW STRIKER UNDERGOES MEDICALS AT NATURENA
Tashreeq Morris underwent medicals at Chiefs this week.
Meaning, the SuperSport United striker is set to be announced as an Amakhosi player soon. That is if he passes his medicals.
So, he is one of the new faces set to be unveiled. Meanwhile, another new player has been spotted in training with Chiefs. Morris to Chiefs is part of a swop deal between Gavin Hunt’s SuperSport United and Amakhosi.
“He is coming”, Hunt told the media (in reference to Saile) following his post-match interview after his sides match against Polokwane City on Friday.
Therefore, his arrival signals the imminent exit of a Chiefs player.
CHIEFS ATTACKER SET TO JOIN PSL RIVALS
Christian Saile is set to become Chiefs’ first departure.
Interestingly, ex-Amakhosi coach Gavin Hunt is the man who confirmed that he will be leaving the Soweto giants to join SuperSport.
Saile has struggled to impress fans, coaches and pundits alike during his time with Amakhosi. Thus, sparking the need to reinforce their attack during the current transfer window. As things stand, Chiefs are linked with several attackers.
“In a dramatic turn of event, Valenciennes’ player of the month for December, Glody Lilepo, is being pushed towards the exit by his current club, who are eager to sell the Congolese midfielder to Kaizer Chiefs,” SoccerLaduma reported.
Meanwhile, Chiefs are still in hot pursuit of Bafana Bafana player and Orlando Pirates transfer target, Oswin Appollis.
