Kaizer Chiefs have finally got their man! as news filters through that they have agreed personal terms with long-term target Thabo Cele.
Kaizer Chiefs have agreed their third signing for the January transfer window and it is a long standing target!
Chiefs have reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with Bafana Bafana midfielder Thabo Cele to join this window.
Chiefs long-term admirers of Cele
It’s no secret that Chiefs have been massive admirers of the midfield maestro and tried getting him several times. Cele has also not hidden his desire and love for Amakhosi, claiming to have supported the club growing up. Now after several failed attempts in the past, the two parties have finally agreed terms for the move to happen.
According to SABC Sport, Cele is set to put pen to paper at Chiefs imminently!

“SABC Sport has established that midfielder Thabo Cele has agreed personal terms with Kaizer Chiefs and is set to join them on a free transfer. The 28-year-old became available when his Russian Premier League side FC Fakel Voronezh confirmed last week the two parties had agreed to a contract termination due to Cele having to return home for family reasons.FC Fakel also stated that the player was more than welcome to move on but was only allowed to join a South African club. It’s understood this immediately opened the door for Chiefs, who have been long-time admirers of the player for several years now and have often missed out on the opportunity to get him on their books

Cele is set to become the third new signing of the window for Chiefs. The club have already agreed deals for forwards Tashreeq Morris and Glody Lilepo. It is also thought that they’re in advanced stages to sign Thembinkosi Lorch from Mamelodi Sundowñ.
