Kaizer Chiefs are set to offload a duo for R20 million in order to make space to sign new players this transfer period.

Kaizer Chiefs are looking to release two of their players for around R20 million.

The players in question Mduduzi Mdantsane and Zitha Kwinika. The duo are yet to get gametime this season under Nasreddine Nabi but have caught the interest of PSL rival AmaZulu FC. According to reports, Amakhosi are looking to sell the duo for R20 million in order to make room for more signings.

So far, Amakhosi have signed Tashreeq Morris from SuperSport United with Christian Saile going the opposite direction.

“Mdu remains one of the top attacking midfielders in the league, and it’s just that he has been unfortunate with injuries. A change in environment is what he needs right now, and AmaZulu has shown an interest. In the coming weeks, we will see what will happen regarding the player’s future,” an informer told Soccer Laduma.

With the transfer window closing, it remains to be seen if Kaizer Chiefs will sign more players. On Sunday, the team narrowly got past Sekhukhune United.

“I hope they forgive us about the last game. They have to know that we need them when we are in a critical situation,” said Amakhosi assisitant coach Ben Youssef.
