Kaizer Chiefs are close to securing their second signing of the January transfer window.

CHIEFS CLOSING IN ON STRIKER FROM SUPERSPORT

Chiefs are set to engage in a swop deal with rivals SuperSport United.

“Saile is set to move to SuperSport as part of a swop deal that will see striker Tashreeq Morris moving in the opposite direction,” KickOff reported.

Meaning, Morris is set to become Amakhosi’s first signing if he passes his medicals. The SuperSport attacker will be undergoing medials with Chiefs this week. Furthermore, Christian Saile is one of SIX Amakhosi players likely heading out of Naturena.

Interestingly, ex-Chiefs coach and current SuperSport United coach, Gavin Hunt confirmed that Saile will be joining his side.

“He is coming”, Hunt told the media (in reference to Saile) following his post-match interview after his sides match against Polokwane City on Friday.

TARGET AGREES TO PERSONAL TERMS

Whilst, Chiefs have also reportedly made a R9.6 million offer for DR Congo star, Glody Lilepo.

Initially, he was reluctant to come to the PSL.

However, he has now done a 360 having just agreed to personal terms with Chiefs.

“In a dramatic turn of event, Valenciennes’ player of the month for December, Glody Lilepo, is being pushed towards the exit by his current club, who are eager to sell the Congolese midfielder to Kaizer Chiefs,” SoccerLaduma reported.

Therefore, if his agent and the Amakhosi hierarchy are on the same page he will join the Soweto giants.
