He’ll never play for Nottingham forest again: Nuno Espirito Santo confirms player exit

Nottingham Forest make four players available for transfer in January

Nottingham Forest are that content with their squad right now that they’ve started to look at potential outgoings in the January transfer window.

Nuno Espirito Santo is in a position where he’s hugely happy with his current starting XI, and who can blame him as the results have been magnificent.

Nottingham Forest find themselves in a commanding position in terms of securing a Champions League spot, but we’re only halfway through the season.

A striker definitely needs to be on the agenda this month with an injury to either Chris Wood or Taiwo Awoniyi possibly derailing the brilliant campaign.

However, right now the focus is more on potential incomings as Nuno Espirito Santo looks to trim his squad down ahead of a push in 2025.

Nottingham Forest open to offers for Harry Toffolo, Emmanuel Dennis, Andrew Omobamidele and Lewis O’Brien

Lewis O’Brien has been hugely impressive over in the United States with LAFC, but they just weren’t able to afford the £5m fee Nottingham Forest have asked for.

Emmanuel Dennis has been a forgotten man at the City Ground, whilst Harry Toffolo and Andrew Omobamidele have had to feed off scraps this season.

According to Sky Sports, Andrew Omobamidele, Lewis O’Brien, Emmanuel Dennis and Harry Toffolo have all been made available and Nottingham Forest are open to offers for permanent and loan.

A smart move from Nuno Espirito Santo

Andrew Omobamidele is valued around £10 million, O’Brien £5 million and the other two will attract some kind of small fee, so there could be room for an addition at no extra cost.

A loan move may not be suitable for Emmanuel Dennis who has been wasting away anyway.

Harry Toffolo’s contract is set to run out in the summer, so getting any kind of fee for him would be great.

In terms of incomings it’s very quiet right now, with the club waiting for opportunities in the market to arise.
