BAD DEAL: EPL giant set to hijack West Ham ‘unstoppable’ £83m star who’s willing to join

West Ham fans will be fuming as Man Utd reportedly eye stunning move for ‘unstoppable’ £83m star

West Ham United and Manchester United are both expected to be very busy indeed during the January transfer window.

West Ham head coach Julen Lopetegui and Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim both need to strengthen their ranks at the London Stadium and Old Trafford respectively.

It has been claimed from a top source inside the London Stadium that West Ham are already very active in the market, and are in talks to sign numerous players.

Lopetegui spent £120 million in the summer, but looking back, he missed out on numerous key additions, or more to the point, Tim Steidten did.

We still lack a powerful, pacy centre-forward with youth on his side and a ball-carrying central midfielder.

The Hammers could have addressed the former in the summer, but we hesitated, and now Manchester United could well succeed where we failed.

West Ham fans fuming as Manchester United want Samu Omorodion

According to a report from Record, Manchester United are eyeing up a move to sign Porto striker Samu Omorodion.

The 20-year-old allegedly has a whopping £83 million release clause inserted into his contract with the Portuguese giants.

And if Man United end up signing Omorodion, it will really frustrate the Hammers fans.

The young striker was there on a plate for West Ham in the summer.

The Hammers apparently made a £30 million bid for Omorodion in the summer.

However, we failed to sign him in the end, and he eventually joined Porto from Atletico Madrid for just £13 million (The Athletic).

What a terrible, terrible mistake that looks like now.

Omorodion has been in stunning form for Porto this season, with 18 goals in 21 games to his name so far.

The 20-year-old is an absolute man mountain, and he would have been perfect for our system, and Premier League football in general.

He has blistering pace, incredible strength and frightening talent in abundance. Oh, he’s a pretty good finisher as well!

Described by Afrik-Foot as ‘unstoppable’, Omorodion will undoubtedly go on to become one of the very best centre-forwards in wold football, if he isn’t already.

West Ham should have done everything in our power to sign Samu Omorodion in the summer, and now it looks like Manchester United are pushing to bring him to Old Trafford in the January window.

If that happens, I will be absolutely seething.
